crewcabbers, HELP!!!

Hi guys,

Got my cab(crew) on the 1979 3/4 ton 4x4 supercab frame. It's just temporarily sitting there till I figure the correct height that the mounts will to be.

Any of you guys with 4x4 crews and 2wd crews, could you take a height measurement from the ground to the top of the cab mount front and rear mounts when truck is sitting level??

Any help would be really appreciated!!!!!!

26 3/4" up front. 30 1/2" at the back to the top of the cab mount bracket.

Also, I have either a shortbed single gas or a shotbed dule gas opening box to use. I am leaning towards the two tank. Anybody have a crew 4x4 shortbed with 2 tanks?? I sure would like to find a tank and hardware for the extra tank. Again thanks.

Mine has the tank in the box. At least it's out of the cab. I've been thinking about a large single tank or dual side tanks with propane in the middle but really haven't decided yet. Main focus is getting the beast back on the road.

I am currently restifying a 79 crew 4wd, and it came factory with dual tanks. Both of which have fuel doors in a short box
