Ok guys, sometimes my clutch slips and sometimes it doesn;t, but when i got home i noticed my PS line got a leak in it. Is it possible that the ps fluid is going up into my bellhousing and making my darn clutch slip? I know that a rear main can cause oil on the clutch and massive slippage, but this isn't bad slippage at all, just a wee bit. And like i said, it happened the same time i sprang a wee leak in the PS fluid...ok so it leaked alot, but thats fixed.
maybe in the mornin...lol i was thinking it was blowing back in there. But then again it might have been slipping becuase the water hole i went through was over the fenders...

Naw, the clutch won't usually slip unless it is up to the window frame on the door. Then it slips a little!! I would say that water may have something to do with it. Oh and one more thing. They make flashlights for such an occation that it is dark out and you need to see something!!
It has been my experience that a clutch will act the same way that drum brakes act when the shoue get oil soaked. They grab hard. The only clutch slippage I have ever had was after fording a creek that came about half way up the doors. Getting The Old Beast moving and then stopping it was a real hair raising event for a little while that day. Oh this would be my 300th post.
It could ba a bad slave cylinder thats starting to bind when you let out the clutch.
a bad clutch fork pivot will do it to sometimes. the clutch just won't engage all the way everytime .
