Crane or Comp cam

Cant decide between these 2, Crane PowerMax 270-343901 260d/272d, .501/.533lift 1500/4500 rpm or the Comp 249-33-224-3 268d .494lift 1500/5500 rpm. Going in my new 390 with rebuilt D2TEAA heads, edlbrock performer 390, Holley 600, Hooker ceramic headers. I dont know the bore or pistons yet as I cant take it to the shop until tomorrow.

Go with the Crane. It makes more power and torque in Desktop Dyno 2000.

Thanks Rusty, If you have time check the Crane 270-343901 with 266d and .516 lift Idle at 1200/ 5000. It comes with new Crane lifters

I wrote the wrong numbers down for the second crane cam the correct numbers are 270-134042

The Crane 343901 still comes out better.

Thanks Rusty for all the trouble, I got the engine to the shop this morning and he told me he'd take it down late today or tomorrow and call me about the condition of the block
