Help with 360
I was going to start removing a 360 in a truck that has been sitting 2 years since a front-end crash for a replacement. It was supposed to be running well when hit. Just for a look I decided to pull the spark plugs first, and was surprised to find fluid of some kind (water?) in #4 and #6. It was rusty looking and the plugs required a breaker wrench to turn out. There was good looking green antifreeze in the block when I pulled off the radiator hoses. Since the hood was crinkled a little and probably let some rain get on the motor, is it possible that some water leaked past those two spark plugs? Now I'm probably looking at a rebuild on what I thought was a running motor, right?

Most likely rusted up the rings and cylinder walls. Probably a couple intake valves were open. I say it's time for a rebuild. At the very least, take it apart, hone the cylinder walls, clean up the rings or put on a new set, and put it back together if everything else is good.
