Did anyone see the road rage incident last night (sat) in NY? Seems two motorcycles street racing, cut off a honda, which then takes off after them, eventually ramming one motorcycle 100 yards down the road into the back of a parked car- where it exploded!
Motorcyclist dead, driver chased down by witness's and charged with 2nd degree murder.
In my darkest opinion, good!- two bad eggs gone. On the other hand what a waste, that honda guy had to be some kinda driver to catch a motorcycle on city streets!
Killing someone (unless in self-defense) is inexcusable...I hope the Honda driver enjoys the many years he'll probably (rightfully) spend behind bars...
Besides the fact that it doesn't make sense that he could catch them.. Thats really sad that someone could do that to another person for such a simple offense. Maybe there was some other reason behind it?
I missed that one, but it's another example of how people are over-reacting to dang near everything these days. So the guy in the Honda got cut off...it's not the end of the world! (Well, it is now...for him, anyway and certainly for the guy he wasted.)
Yeah, it ticks me off too when something like that happens, but that's just no reason to take the guy out.

It sucks that someone lost their life over this. The only good to possibly come out of the is maybe these looney's on two wheels will respect the laws of the road more often. Frankly, I am tired of these rice rockets weaving in and out of traffic or flying by at 100 MPH. Around here, these guys are a nuisance and unfortunately this kind of thing was bound to happen. The police won't chase em because they can't catch em or because chasing them will put others at risk and these rocket jockeys know it. The winter is coming that will cool things off in more ways than one Here's the link to the story http://www.wnbc.com/news/5017250/detail.html
Yeah thats a really dumb case of road rage, some people do drive like idiots, but by no means should they get killed for it, their assed whipped, maybe, but killed, no!
My solution to scum bags like that Honda driver, SHOOT EM'! I don't care if you got cut off by some *** on a bike, there is no exuse for killing a guy over it.

There is no excuse for driving a bike like a complete moron either.
However...until local/county/state police forces institute their own "crotch rocket" task forces (trained mounted officers who can pursue/intercept/punish these two-wheeled hooligans), they don't stand much of a chance at curtailing this activity. Those idiots on the sport bikes know they have the upper hand...at least at the present time.
Oh, come on. Motorcycles really aren't as big of a problem as some of you are trying to make them. Just because SOME ride like idiots does NOT mean that all of them do. Just because someone rides a sport bike doesn't mean he/she is a hooligan on two wheels with no respect for anybody else.
Also, no matter what the circumstance, there is NO excuse for killing someone because they cut you off, in a motorcycle or otherwise. I ride a motorcycle, and I'd hate for that to happen to me should I accidentally cut someone off.
This is one example that gives bikers a bad name. I'd almost be willing to bet, the driver of the car gets a good lawyer, pays a lot of money, maybe spends a couple months in jail. The defense will read, it wasn't his fault, the bike rider cut in front of him and the car couldn't stop in time.
I don't see how a honda could catch a motorcycle, unless the bike slowed down and didn't see the car coming up on him.
