put a coil by the spark plug and run one wire to you engine coil and the other from the other side of the coil through a toggle switch then to the coil on the back. When you want the flames flip the switch. Eric

Did that with a 48 Dodge with a 3" stack up the side. Used a Motel T coil controled by a switch. Spark plug up the stack.
Drive down the road, pull the choke wide open, flip the switch, and don't drive under any thing flameable!! Bob

Sounds like a lot of fun! I think I will give it a try on my brothers truck. If something goes wrong, no loss. It's a chevy....

From what I understand, you add a wire to one of your spark plug wires, and then run it down to the end of your exhaust. Then you put a switch somewhere in the wire. I think that would work better. The engine would run rich when you flipped the switch,(cutting the said plug out)and you would get the extra fuel to "fire up" with. I plan to do this with my '70. Sounds like fun.
