Pinging after I changed plugs

Yea I just replaced my wires, spark plugs, cap, and rotoron my vehicle. Now it has started to ping! I used the Bosch platnium 4+ and I heard that using platinum plugs can cause this. I had Acdelco rapid fire in there before. Just wondering if I could get some feedback on these plugs, and if I might need to go with autolite, or acdelco.

I dont know a bought the bosh platnum but I use auto lite they are #.99 here and are the best plug I have found

I had the same problem with Bosch Platinums in my 92 with a 302. Took them out and replaced them with Autolites and all is well. Many other people here had the the same problem not only in trucks, but in vans and Mustangs.

Thanks guys, I think I'll take out the bosch and put in the autolite. Guess I'll just keep the bosch around for a rainy day. By the way has anyone heard of side-gapping. I've heard it gives you better performance and gas mileage. If this is true how do you side gap plugs? Any thoughts?
