Just another question for Jeff

Your help would be great jeff because I give up,I bought my 05 F-350 in Dec. and originally applied for the commercial upfit rebate for $500 and quallified for to Aqha rebate also but only one was applicable(think I e-mail you on that one by the way). So I recently received my check from ford for $300 WTF because at the time (Dec. 2004) it was suposed to be for $500.

Anyway back and forth with Ford and the dealer and no resolve. If this were to be the case then I would of went with the Aqha rebate and not the Comm. Upfit rebate. Any advise would be very helpful. Oh by the way becuase of my persistance and $200 that some one owes me, the dealer said that because of cut backs @ Ford that they dont have a rep. right now,and could not give me any direction. Could this be true......? Thanks.....

It was my understanding when I bought my truck that the commercial upfit rebate was 300.00 if you wanted it immediately (like the cash back) with no proof of equipment purchases. The 500.00 rebate was also immediate if you had paid invoices or a purchase order for commercial upfit equipment equaling 1200.00. The latter is the route I chose, and the 500.00 upfit rebate was taken off the purchase price along with the Home Depot rebate and 2500.00 cash back.

I could have opted to submit proof of purchases to get the rebate check from Ford within a year of purchase date.

When did you buy yours 2fords1jeep. Bought mine Dec. 12 2004. The only other type of rebate was started the day I picked up the truck $1000.00 Finance rebate. Wich I got when the paper work was done.

Some confusion here, that's for sure. Classic- did you have upgrades done to the truck for which you spent at least $1200, and have receipts to prove it? If not, the most you can expect to get is $300. You need to have spent $1200 on business-related accessories to get the $500.

Yes I did , I bought a 8' Fischer SS X Blade($4500) I had it installed the week after I picked up the truck. Then I brought the receipt in when I went to pick up the plates and then they made a photo copy of the receipt and submitted it for the Commercial upfit rebate. As far as the AQHA rebate, I would of went for it instead of the commercial upfit if they were only going to give me $300. It would be a no brainer.

Then there shouldn't be any question about this, you get the $500. It sounds like you're dealing with the salesperson or the sales manager; bypass them completely. You need to talk to someone in the dealership's office, the person that submits the rebate requests to Ford.
