Cool 94 Bronco URGENT REPLY requested (please)

I have a minor roadside emergency, the hood latch seems to be jammed up, kinda like when you pull the hood release cable inside the truck, and the hood lifts up about 1/2" and then you need to move the release lever through the grille to open hood, but release lever will not move, its jammed, and the hood will not slam shut either, how do I get it open?????? I was thinking of unbolting the latch, but I can't really make out the mounting hardware, I can see two bolts (10mm) I can probably get at through the front grille, I have to believe there is more to it than that. What is holding the latch mech in place??? any way to get this open??
Thanks
brian

never mind, I got it, only took two hours of trying to squeeze my hands through the front grill to unbolt the hood latch assy. The release lever was stuck, and the cable latch had already released, I sprayed it, after reassembly/adjustment it worked fine, now if only the engine problem is that straightforward. . .
