Recieved my adjustable rocker shafts that I got off ebay today, and they came with the pushrods and lifters from this guys engine that died on the dyno. It was advertised that the pushrods and lifters were crane units, and they look like they are pretty nice pieces.
Is there any way to tell if the lifters are crane lifters or not? They are hydralic, and do not have the oil groove around them like the stock ones did. They also have a funky metal plate retainer instead of the wire clip.
Also, everything was just shoved in a bag; lifters, push rods, rocker shaft bolts. I was cleaning up the lifters tonight and some of them have small scratches on the lower machined part of the lifter. Are they still good? I am assuming they are junk now. One has a small chip out of the edge that contacts the cam. Can you buy just one?
