4.6 miss under load
I have a 2002 SCrew w/4.6L. I changed the plugs and tested the ohms on the COPS (the test seems useless seeing how they usually don't break down until they're hot). The truck ran good for about a month and started missing again. I've read post about the boots needing changed, BUT, if it was a bad boot wouldn't it have run bad even with new plugs? Thanks for your guys help on this.

Did you use dilectric grease on the boots when you installed the plugs? Maybe some moisture has gotten in there allowing the spark to arc under a load.
You may scan for codes even though the light isn't lit.

Yeah, I used dielectric grease. It's getting progressively worse. I was thinking about changing the boots. My big concern is how it ran great for a few weeks and then started this again. I will have the codes scannned to if any codes have been thrown. Thanks

If you scan,use a scanner that can pickup misfire cylinders. find the bad cop
Then switch it with another cylinder or get a new one,seeing as how much of pita to change they are.
If your boots are carbon tracking get new ones!
