I'm assuming you mean Proto, they are still around, but owned by Stanley, and made overseas, so I don't know if they rebuild the old ones or just replace them with new junk. Proto was some really high-end stuff when new, so you may be able to find a tool dealer who has some old inventory.
You'll notice that they are combined of a varying number of big names.
Proto makes the Stanley tool line and I would assume the MAC line as well.
Stanley had an e-Bay sales center also.
I bought a lot of tool sets on their sales before the shipping increased.
They used to charge shipping by $ sold and I got a 3/4" socket set and a couple 205 piece stes shipped foer like $20-25.
Would be 2-3 times that now.
Last year before Christmas they had some REAL deals.
Just make sure you read their ads carefully.
They have some very similar sounding wrenches etc.
As Sturm-Ruger said, 'let the buyer beware'.
FWIW

PS When I say read, I mean things like the ratchets.
The pear head are the really nice ratchets(in my opinion) and are quick release.
Some ratchets are NOT!.
