i have a 99 f250 SD and it is starting to show signs of piston slap this is my second motor allready is it possible to swap a diesel in.i know my transmission will hold it but will it bolt up, what about to the motor mounts. obviously ill need a harness but clearance is what im worried about and of course cost. im sick of the 5.4 POS and gas prices too this truck has given me nothing but problems im ready to sell it and but a street bike

 

it will fit but you will need to buy everything ro make it work including new fuel tank EVERYTHING motor mounts wont match neither will the radiator better off just getting a new or used truck the conversion i would guess around 10 grand if you do it yourself and if i believe right your trans i think wont fit could be wrong
