Here, I'll help out a fellow FTE'er. I'll email you my address and you can ship it down here to me and I will run the numbers for you. I'll even pay for the shipping!
LOL No I defanatly got a title to the it the guy was an goofy dude and he said he rode it once and it scared the heck out of him so his loss my gain I guess huh I had to go to church after this one!!!
My friend just bought a brand new '05 Raptor. He paid $6000 for everything including some new riding gear and an extended warranty. You got a damn good deal. He's always riding that thing now and it is making me want to get my ancient Suzuki TS 90 back on the road.
You, my friend got a steal. They haven't changed much in years, so regardless of the age of it, it's almost identical to what you get right now. And I believe the Banshee is about to be put on the shelf, so that makes it all the better.
Banshee is a great bike. Can't beat the power to weight on it. Plus a 2 stroke is just plain fun!

You know why; right?
The '06 Raptors are here and they're kicking butt and taking names!!!
686CC, EFI, YFZ control arms and the list goes on.......mine (or I should say my wife's) will be here this weekend and I gave $6500 for it OTD.....it lists for $6999.

You did well. I just traded my '96 Banshee and '01 Raptor for a pair of Sea Doos..........wife loves the watercraft but misses her quad. See post above
Anyway, believe it or not, the Banshee is a tad sluggish stock. A set of pipes, re-jetting and filters and the thing SCREAMS.
Buddy was pissed when my 10 year old little 350 destroyed his modded YFZ450!!! (it also destroyed the 660 Raptor!!!)
The only negative is they do seem to go through top ends occasionaly, at least more often than a 4 stroke, but I'd buy one again.
You got a great deal!!! The banshee will not let you down on top end speed, have fun and ride carefully. My friends and I have had some scary moments on ours, so make sure you wear a helmet, they have saved us more than once.
If you think its fun now wait until you start modifing it. I have an old one(87 model) The best mod I heve ever done is my FMF exhaust. It really woke it up. On a side note- If you ride it a lot plan on a top end overhaul every 2 years. It's easy to do and is fairly cheap.
here you can find anything you ever wanted to know about your new ride,
congratulations and hope that your shouders stay in thier sockets. www.bansheehq.com
