Baby C6?

I read on another board someone referring a C6 that bolts to a SB as a baby C6. I have a 76' F-150 4wd, 390 with a C6. I can get a C6 off of a 76' F-250 2wd with a 460. Will the tranny work? Is there a difference between a 2wd and 4wd tranny? I couldn't get a good look behind my engine, but the tranny from the other truck has 3 bolts on the top that kind of comes to a point. I think mine's kind of rounded on top.

The 390 and 460 have different bolt patterns, so no, it won't bolt up. And 2wd and 4wd transmissions are different, too. They can be changed, but it takes a complete disassembly to change the output shaft.
