Welcome to FTE... Most of the trucks I've noticed don't have shoulder belts, however I have seen a few where they mounted the shoulder belt to the crossmember on the back panel which goes from the rear window to the door, just above the (on a 56) gas tank filler tube. The ones I've seen mostly came from 70's style Mustangs that have the rubber shield that snaps over the mounting bolt.
Thanks I have been looking at the later mustang seatbelts, but of course all of the belt reels are ugly since they are inside of the trim panel. I will look at the 70's stangs.
I have used the Juliano's belts in several different cars and have been very happy with them. Be sure to get the anchor plate kit and FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!!
With some custom fabrication I was able to use the rear top cab corner supports in my '50 F1 for the shoulder point for some early 90's Mustang 3 point belts. But if this is for your '54 pickup, I can't recall if you have any cab support brackets in the upper cab corners to do that with?
On the 53-56 it is necessary to weld in a curved piece of steel that is connected at the left, right and bottom of the plate. I boulght my three-point belts from the supplier who travels the auto swap meets up and down the state. Good luck, Jag
