92 f-150 4x4 problems

I have a 92 f-150 4x4 with manual hubs. After getting stuck, my driverside front wheel will not drive when in 4x4. the passenger side still drives, but i get a klackity klackity klack kind of clicking sound out of the driverside. A friend said i probably just need a new hub. Is this a safe bet, or will the problem persist after i replace the hubs?

More than likely, you simply blew out the hub. Go to any parts store and get some Warn Premium hubs, and you won't have that problem again. They'll probably run you about a hundred bucks, and should last the life of the truck.

is their anything i should about replacing my hubs befor i start? someone told me i might need a puller to get them off.

No puller, just the correct Dana 44 axle socket. It's available through any parts store. Just make sure you get everything very clean before re-installation.
