Installing light bar under tailgate question.

I bought the factory light bar that mounts to the bed under the tailgate.Before I wire it to the trailer harness does anyone know if there is a factory plug on a 250?Thank's

The OEM connection should be found on Dual Rear Wheel trucks only, you could look around the rear wiring. You may end up just hard wiring the bar.

I installed a DOT bar on my 05 250 and it did not have a recepticle. I beleive I wired into the Plate light.

I wired mine into the license plate light wire. I cut the wire, tapped mine in and used heat shrink on the outside to protect it. Works great.

If you bought the light from Ford and have not installed it yet, take it back. The light from Ford is about $45.00. I went to a place that sells truck equipment and got the same thing from them for $10.00. I hooked it up to my plate light.
