300-6 question

Hey guys. Sorry, this is kind of long.
I have an 89 F150 4X4 with a 300 and a 4 speed, with 135,000 miles. I have the engine removed due to a cracked head and decided to replace the clutch and the leaking expansion plug in the bellhousing at the same time. The engine ran good, except for the coolant getting into the combustion chamber, no coolant got into the oil pan. I pulled the pan, small amount of sludge at the bottom, no metal or other junk. I pulled a couple of rod bearings, they look pretty good., no copper showing at all. Before the cracked head problem, the oil pressure gauge in the dash normally read on the lower end of the "normal" area of the gauge. Sometimes it was up in the middle. I thought of putting a set of rod and main bearings in it, oil pump, a timing set, and a rear main seal before I put it back in. The cross hatch is still visible in the cylinders. No visible oil soot on the plugs. Is there anything else I should be on the lookout for? Would a cam bearing problem cause low oil pressure? This engine made no noise before removal. I just don't have the budget for a complete rebuild. I do have a spare engine form a '90, that's where the replacement head is from, but it has a broken piston skirt on #2 cyl.
Thanks guys.

You got it pretty well covered. You can get away with out doing the cam bearings. The crank and rod bearings affect oil pressure more. A new oil pump will also greatly help. So as far as I can see you got pretty well everything covered.
