Please HELP F250 powerstroke dead on side of road!!!!!

my truck keeps dying. I've check the fuses and relays. I can always start her up, but she dies sooner and sooner.
I just went to a 24hr autozone and bought a code reader. Guess what.... NO CODES... nothing. What else can I do? no other lights on the dash doing anything.

I'd start with the CPS. If it doesn't fix it......you now have a spare when it does go out.

"If the engine will turn over, check the cam sensor located: If you looking at the front of the motor it is located to the left of the crank pully. Sometimes cam sensors will go out without logging a code. NAPA or most any auto parts store should one. You'll need a 10M socket to replace it. It should have a 3 wire plug on it. Just thought I would pass this on to you just in case you wanted to try to fix it yourself. "

Sound right?

That rocks. Given that the tack goes nuts, is that a sign that this is it? How hard is this to do in the dark, at night? better from on top, or below?
