It's just a pre-season game but the Stars are playing the Oilers, as of now its 5-4 Stars lead!!

I was in the WORST mood earlier
and I was flipping through the channels and saw the game...all my worries are gone! 
The game is a little faster with the new rules, the goal line and the blue line are 4 ft farther apart. I like it so far.

Took my wife to her first pro hockey game a couple of years ago, and couldn't believe she actually liked it. We always have a great time, especially when our Tulsa Oilers play Okla. City(no love lost there). Much better live than on TV. Great entertainment for the money, and I'm not that big a hockey fan. Amazing athletes, beer and brats. What more could a guy ask for?

I'm actually excited for this season, I never was for one before the lockout happened. I think it's cause the Flyers signed Forsberg and have great prospects in Carter and Richards. Go Flyers

It's a great game that only the corporate clowns can afford. When the camera pans the fans in the first bunch of rows are suits.

I went to a bunch of Aeros playoff games a few years back when they won the Calder Cup in the IHL....
The stuff that is chanted in the arena ("The Hershey Brown Bears are at full strength....AND THEY STILL SVCK!") is interesting to say the least.
Oh yeah, bundle up. Especially when you are sitting 3 rows behind the glass.

Sorry, But I think hockey and soccer are gay... and retarded and have no point but that's just my opinion don't take it personal I'm more of a football basketball baseball...

The St. Louis Blues play their first pre-season game tonight against Nashville. I haven't seen a game yet but heard they are calling alot of penalties for obstruciton since the new rules change.

I'm pretty excited for the season....not too crazy bout the bigger nets though. Hopefully my Leafs can have a good year, probly not as good as last time though. (As long as Lindros and Allison don't run into each other, it should be decent) Philly isn't what everyone claims they are, they lost 4 of their top 5 scorers last year, for who...Forsberg??? Gimme a break. Sure he's good, but he can't replace 4 guys. Hopefully all 6 Canadian teams can make it to the second season, the Habs will be on the bubble though.
