Guess thios is the best place to introduce myself. I'm over at Shaw AFB in Sumter. I have a '57 F-100, I will be going home to get it shortly, probably in May.

Hey Macdawg,
From what I've noted, there is no SC chapter at all. Know of anyone interested in being a state FTE prez? Or should it be broken down into small regional chapters? IE: Middle SC, Upstate SC and Coastal SC?
Something to ponder

Not sure if anyone is familiar with a Super Duty of this description, but In Cayce(just below west columbia) there is an F-250 with 48-49s sitting off of Edmund Highway about a half mile from 26. Not sure if thats anyone thats on here, but its one of the most intimidating trucks Ive seen. The guy can only pull the front clip in the carport, its hilarious, I gotta get a pic this week.
Doesnt seem like there are enough sc members here to warrant breaking it down any further. Maybe if there are couple more it would be neccesarry, but right now Id keept it a statewide deal.

Hey guys

Keep it a statewide deal. Not enough South Click boys to break it down any further. I've got a 92 F-150 Ext Cab, 2 WD, 4.9L w/ 282,000 miles.

Makes sense macdawg,
it'd make it a bit rough on meetings and such but with gas and diesel close to 3 bucks a gallon, it would be a moot point anyways.
FWIW, if anyone in SC is really interested in starting a club, I can do the website related stuff.

Exclamation Buummp!!!!....

So how about we make the SC Chapter Happen in this... 2006 year?

I'd throw myself in for a leadership spot, but work seems to have me on the go quite a bit here lately. I might be able to limit my travel trips though?

I have approx. 53 days from June 26th ('06 of course) till I come home from Korea. My date of arrival in Greenville is the 17th of Sept.
  • I hope we can get a list, or do we have a actual list started already?
  • About potential Meeting Times,Dates and Places ??
I guess Tim or the other Admins./Mods don't mind if we grow off this one post for now, we should be fine??

Until we have something physical, I wouldn't see a point in asking someone to start a sub-folder for us yet.

Lets keep this clean have some fun and welcome any s
and get the SC Chapter Rolling this Year!

Here's the Link on "Starting A Chapter" (Overview and Rules)...

https://www.ford-trucks.com/chapters.php
  1. In order to start a Chapter you must have minimum of 5 FTE members willing to join. Each member must be an active FTE user for at least 30 days. The member organizing the Chapter must be an FTE user for at least 60 days.
  2. Once the Chapter is formed, you must organize an off-line meeting of the Chapter to elect a Chapter Leader and any additional officers your Chapter may need such as secretary, treasurer, photographer, etc. Each Chapter needs to have one or more persons with a digital camera so Chapter related photos can be maintained in the Chapter Gallery.
(above is a partial on the "Starting a Chapter" link)

Hey sifon187,
good deal. Heres the link regarding the chapter formation so far. I think we're waiting on moderator approval and then we'll get started with meeting places, officer elections and the like.
