Unhappy check engine

I have a 2001 ford ranger 6 cilinder 4.0 80000 miles 2wd. two days ago I got a check engine. I went to autozone and they gave me a code "too much flow in the exhauts gas camera.
How may I fix the problem?

No offense,

But we really need to get the code number before we can help you. I did give in and take a glance at the 93-2000 (OBD2 codes for 2001 still the same) Ranger Haynes manual just to kill the suspense...and naturally, no definition even remotely similar to what you give jumped off the page at me.

Clarify and we'll help.

Welcome to FTE!!!

Sounds like excess EGR flow code P0402, I would guess DPFE sensor but we really need the code number.
