Exhausting problem

I am in the process of rebuilding the 460 in my 86 F-250. I have decided in the interest of a rapidly shrinking bank account that I will use the stock exhaust manifolds for the time being. I will get headers in the future, but I need to get the nickle and dime things done first.
Anyway, my question is, how do I plug the holes for the A.I.R fittings I removed? I've tried a couple of different fittings, but they don't fit. I was told that Ford used special sized fittings for those A.I.R lines, but they look like regular 3/8 npt fittings to me. HELP ME PLEASE!!!

Dan

Your best bet would be to either try tapping the inside of the fittings for a plug or put the lones on and fold them over and weld or braze them closed near the fitting. Or just find a bolt that fits inside the fittings for the manifolds and weld it into them.
