The money you keep in the U.S. is probably being outsourced anyway for the product. I am sure a bunch of us would be astounded by where the products actually come from that are from the U.S. I have used HF power tools and hand tools and for the price their not bad for the DIY set. Mind you the harder you are on anything the shorter life span it will have. I prefer my Craftsman sets as well as Mac but for those occasional use items like pullers and seal picks you cant beat cheap!!!
I would not use Pittsburgh Professional (made Taiwan!!) for anything! or HF crap,
maybe i would use for less 60 foot pounds. i would a USA tool instead made Taiwan tools, for the trunk of the car something cheap but good. like Husky, cheap
The way the sentences are written, I don't understand. If you are saying that you would prefer a Husky over a Pittsburg, remember, Husky has been made overseas for a while now (at least 11 years). Stanley lost the lawsuit to the ftc, because they were advertising their products as made in the USA, when they weren't. This was proven with all their brands (Mac, Stanley, Proto, Husky, etc).

I would buy Husky to keep on car, Pittsburg is made in China. i will not help the Communists, Husky is made in Twain

They lost the lawsuit to the FTC, because someone noticed the shipping boxes said product of China, and R.O.C (republic of China), not made in the USA like their ads.
