Hi-boy Headers

I'm looking at putting headers on my '75 hi-boy. To my understanding they have a narrowed frame, as opposed to the regular F250s. Anyone experienced this install before? It's 390ci What brand did you use, and how did the install go?

Ive got the headmen headers on my 74 Hi-boy w/360. Intall wasnt that bad only had to unbolt left motor mouunt and lift it up a little bit plus had to take out the starter. It would be a good investment to put some header tape around the tubes that are near the starter so it dosnt burn starters up. On a scale of 1-5 (1=Very Easy 5=Very Hard) ide say it was a 2.5, it was a little frustrating scratching the paint off my headers! Good luck with it.

I have fender well exit headers on my 428 in my 75' Hi-boy. Depending on your tire size and/or if you have a lift, fender well exit headers are real easy to install and look pretty darn good too in my opinion. My truck is stock height with 33's and I have no clearance problems. The headers on my truck are obsolete, but I think Headman makes a set in their Hustler series. Just an idea. Good luck!!!
