From a dealership web site A transmission-integrated PTO allows customers to mount powered accessories such as dump boxes, plow blades, liftgates, winches, skylifts, air brake compressors, auxiliary hydraulic pumps or other add-on equipment. The FORD PTO provides direct engine power for accessory equipment without the expense and installation time of separate, independently mounted electric motors or other power sources
I'm still working through all the threads, but can somebody tell me if the PTO shuts off everytime you hit the brake? This is what my upfitter is telling me and somebody at the dealership.
