tire size
There are no rules on "what tires your supposed to run." If that were the case, half the rednecks in the country would be heartbroken; the other half would still be related to there wife in more than one way, but pardon me, I digress...
I found that a combination of rear end gears and tire sizes tend to corelate my speeding tickets to my speedometer. That is, your speedometer gears can fool you depending on your tire size and rear end gear ratios. Pardon me, I'm digressing again!
The tire I found to work best on my truck is a P235/75R 15. Any larger(31x10.5), my speedo reads slow; any smaller(P225/70R 15), my speedo reads fast.
Either way, tires are an expression of the individuals taste and performance needs. The only thing that is certainly wrong, is driving something other than a Ford truck.
