Oil leak again

I was given an 85 Ford F250 by my father in-law. Its had this oil leak for ever. Well i decided to pull the motor and fix it.....Well ive had the motor in and out twice now and it always leaks in the same spot....Ive tried the one piece oil pan gasket from moroso and brand new felpro gaskets....It leaks out of the back of the oil pan a the 6 oclock position....The oil pan will sit level on the work bench i dont think it is warped...Where the rear main seal rubs on the crank is a little worn could this be the leak the motor only has 10000 miles since the rebuild. My next step is a new oil pan.....Any inputs would be appreciated.

replace the rear main. and also double check the intake and valve covers to be certain its not leaking from there.

Good advice. If you have the engine out, try running the dist. with a drill and watch the back of the engine to see where the oil is coming from. My FE in my 66 was coming from the back oil galaries, one of the plugs was put in at a angle and leacked, could not see this until I had oil pressure in the engine.

This is a little bit of a long shot but, how clean is your engine. I bought a truck with a lot of miles and a big oil leak (actually leaks). The motor was so covered in grease & grime I couldn't see that the oil pan was rotted through just to the right of the rear main.

Also, I've seen those dye kits in the stores for finding leaks. I've never used them and I'm skeptical of putting anything in my oil except for oil. Anyone have any knowledge/experience with that stuff?
