Remove 2 leafs

A buddy of mine told me that i could take out 2 rear leafs to level out my 77 F100.There are 5 leafs there now.Is this a safe thing to do.Or is he out to get me.I don't haul anything in my truck so weight is not a problem

I don't know on the safety aspect but some cars had 8 foot monoleafs! You couldn't haul much like you said. The springs might wear out a little faster with less leafs. Contact a spring and suspension shop and ask them.

Personally, I wouldn't do that, but if I were, I would start with one leaf and wait a couple of months for the springs to settle.
