Currently I have an option of getting an '83 F250. The truck it seems is worth what the guy is asking for it. I haven't found out much more than this but, the 'stats' are as follows
4x4, 460 and it's been garaged for 10 years. Now I've read that at maximum this year is worth about $3000, the guy is asking $5500 for it and I was wondering if it was worth it?
If it is should I jump on it right away or should I inspect the truck first? Because, I called him today to see if he still had it which he did but someone offerd him something for it already. Now if I were to buy it, it'd take me at least 2 days to get the cash and I don't currently have enough money to put down for a deposite. What do you guys think I should do? Should I just tell him I will buy the truck but it'll take a few days to get the cash? What if he won't hold it for me because he's considering the other guys deal? I don't have much more than $5500... HELP PLEASE! BTW he says it's in excellent cond. god I want/need this truck so bad and it's freakin awesome. I mean a 460? Man...
Truthfully, you sound a might anxious about it. Maybe give it a day to put it into perspective? How many meals are you gonna have to miss to buy it, things like that?
Well actually I'm only 16 so not much goin on. I really want the truck and see I'd just get my grandparents to loan me the money then over a period of time I'd pay them back (even if they refuse, which I know they would). But see. I need the truck cause I need some wheels (I'm gonna just be riding on the rims ya know... no tires. =) ) to get around in then not to mention I really want a truck and this thing is in awesome shape and then it's also got the 460 in it. *shrug*, perhaps I don't really NEED it but I could use it and I want it.
All of a sudden I see a new truck and I'm all over it like stank on ****. Heh gonna call the guy about it tomorrow. It's the same amount as the other one but it's a '91 Ranger with a 4.0 V6, 5spd, pw, etc, lift, new BFG all terrains, even got a cd player. He he... I'm weird like that ain't I?
