Funny Noise
Somebody please HELP!!! Got a funny noise coming from somewhere, sounds like a busted shock sounds. When i go over rough roads and bumps I am hearing something go bumpty, bump. Took to the shop and they thought it was the 3rd door, put in some foam but did not help. Was wondering if any one had the same problem with a supercab. Thanks for the help.

Could you describe a bit more on the direction its coming from?... I once had a loud metallic/thump or bump but it actually turned out being my trailer hitch rec'vr bar (rustling of the hitch pin was the metallic noise i believe) that was stored behind the passenger seat in the floor.
Have you ruled out all items in the floor or add-ons that maynot be securely mounted?
Jus' a thought...
....at least i didnt have to suffer the embarassment of the dealer telling me what it was....lol

If it sounds like it is coming from the front it could be the control arm bushings. I had mine replaced under warranty. I asked the tech if it was something I would have to worry about after the warranty expired, he said there is an updated part. I also have a similar sound coming from the back. I think it may be the headliner. If i hit it I get a similar sound. Also, it seems quieter with the sunroof open.
