In a fit of middle age crisis, i bought a cute little '91 Ranger last week. I got sick of working on the '90 Corsica which no matter what I did to it, still looked like a piece of junk. At least the kid and his friends think the Ranger is cool.
Now I'm sitting here trying to compose myself after getting stuck on a 5 speed Mazda tranny leak. At first I thought it was the rear seal but after buying that and crawling under I decided it wasn't leaking there, so I searched this site and found out about the dreaded rubber plugs. Now after draining the tranny I can't get the filler plug out even with a 14" pipe wrench. (It was already rounded off when I started.) This is starting to get out of my range and I'm about ready to call the garage.
So that's how I got here and became a member, hope your day is going better.
