Understanding VIN's

I just (within the month) purchased a new F250 SD (2005). Is there some site anyone can point me to to decode Ford's VIN? Also the door tag codes? Sure appreciate the help!!

The best place is Section 00 of the Service Manual.

The next best place is the SuperDuty FAQ, Read this first thread that is tacked to the list of topics.

FAQ's didn't address VIN's nor all of door tag codes, esp for 2005's. You mentioned the service manual...seeing how Helm's doesn't have the order forms in the Owner's Manual anymore, where can I go to purchase one? I've Googled the internet without much luck.
