AHHHH, i really need some help.
Gotta drive it to school tommorrow.
My truck is smoking white!!!!!!
Wasn't this morning when i took it to get gas.
Idles fine, runs fine, but smokes white.
Not coolant, doesn't smell sweet, smells like fuel.
Plugs are all White, not the golden brown they were. So i'm gonna get new ones.
This is making me think that junk Carter is freaking out.
Gonna get a carb kit today.
Is it worth it.

Yea that's what i figured, it ain't coolant. I already went through that. The level is right where it should be.
I got 6 Autolight 45's and a carb kit i'm gonna do that in a min, then i get to write a paper for school

What kind of tranny do you have? Older automatics have a vacuum modulator (my wife's '92 Aerostar has it) and if the diaphram gets a leak, AFT will go into your intake manifold and make white smoke. Check the ATF level. BTW, this is supposed to clean the combustion chamber out nicely, but may be skewed to only a few cylinders depending on where the ATF enters the manifold.

Well i got an NP435 4spd.
I think ive fixed it. 2 plugs were wore completly out. and weren't fireing.
Lots more power now. And it idles smooth, and white smoke as far as i can tell is gone, but it was dark out.
I'll let ya'll know how it runs today

mine smokes black or white just when you start it, usually black. i've changed the plugs and rebuilt the carb. stopped for a while but now does it again. I would't get tooo worked up about it my trucks been doing it for a while and althogh it starts hard sometimes it still runs fine. I'm hoping the new Holley 4 bbl. I just bought (but haven't installed yet) will solve all of my problems.
