I am in the process of selling my Edge/Attitude and going with the SCT.
Yesterday I removed the Edge/Attitude combo and installed Autometer gauges in preparation for the SCT.
The EGT readings are 50-75 Degrees higher with the Autometer gauge and the only mods being an MBRP turbo back exhaust (no cat) and AFE Stage I intake. Since the SCT has not arrived, these readings are with the stock calibration.
This is consistent with cruising and idle.
Either one of the EGT readings is inaccurate or the Edge actually lowers EGT readings as a whole.
the edge program is much more efficient than the stock programming. there fore it allows the EGT's to be lower. (my guess) but when you go with the SCMT, you will probably find that the EGT's go back to where they were, because of aftermarket programming.
