I don't see why not, but it will take quite a bit of fabrication. The hood mounts to the fenders, so it would go with the clip. You'll have to make a few modifications so it would hold up to it.

US Body makes fiberglass tilt fronts for our trucks. I'm thinking of putting the GT500 one on my truck

Iwas going to put one of them on my truck.the cost of the clip is not that bad.The shipping was over $750.00 for crateing and shipping.Idid my own.I think I only have about 50.00 in tubing and flat stock.I saved over 1100.00 that alot I could and[Did]spend on other parts.I still wish I had the GT500 hood.

There's a member by the name of KJKozak2 here on FTE who has done this also and had a detailed web gallery for it but I can't find his web page now. If you get a chance PM him and see if he still has a link to it as his pics wil give you some good pointers and ideas. I'm planning to work on this over the winter with a wiring harness and removable pin hinges so I can remove the whole front clip in a couple minutes if need be. It's very tough working on my truck with everything being up so high. One nice thing about building your own vs the one piece fiberglass clips (in addition to cost) is that you can still retain your hood so if you just want to pop the hood to get to something quick, rather than opening the whole front end, you can. I'd really like to see more details on Perky's air cylinders that tilt the front end. That's cool!

I had some pics of the air system don,t no what happend to them.My brother is coming over tomorrow to take more pics.I tride to keep the hood working. But the clip was to flimsy.Welded hood to fenders.I have quik plugs for the wireing.take out 2 pins for the air rams 2 for the hindges clip comes off.Air presure holds the clip closed tight.
