Transfer case

I just picked up a 1976 F-150 Ranger 4X4 . I would like some help identifying the Transfer Case. It has locking hubs, but could have been converted. the shift pattern is kind of like a reverse "J" with Low-Lock at the top. Neutral in the middle and Hi-Lock at the bottom. Any help is appreciated.

Look on the front center of the Tcase, There is a tag, the model number is stamped on it.

Thanks, also could you tell me what tranny's will bolt to the 390? I literally got this truck today and the tranny is slipping and has no reverse. I'm hoping it's the modulator.

Probably not the modulator. As far as what tranny will bolt up.....any tranny with the correct bellhousing configuration. You need the rounded bellhousing.
