Has anyone figured out how to put a plow frame for a Meyer classic easy mount on their 2005 or 2006 Superduty??
Meyer in their wisdom no longer makes the frame mounts for the new 05/06 Superduty........
I don't know anything about plows, but wouldn't a frame mount for an '04 work? The suspension and grill changed, but I don't believe the frame or any other structural component did. But again, I'm not sure how a snow plow frame hook's on, maybe they use the spring hangers.
I thought they had just boxed in a lot of the open parts on the '04 frame for the '05's, I had no idea they changed it that much. I guess I need to go take a good look at an '05 to see what they actually did. Sorry I couldn't help. Weekends are usually slow so if need be bump this thread back to the top on Monday. I know there are quite a few plow folks on the board.
look at this picture, is this what you are talking about? it is the type where you have 2 yellow pins to attach the plow to the mount, and 4 blue handles to attach the mount to the truck. and when you take off the mount there is just two little pieces of metal sticking out-
That wouldn't be so bad but I have a Plow that was used for five winters to do two short driveways. The cutting edge still has all the origional paint on it!!
The plow is in like new condition....Hate to get rid of it...
i have been plowing for over 20 years. do you self a favor and sell it , if it looks as good as you say ,you might get a decent buck for it. no offense personaly i wouldn't want a myers plow ever if it free.buy a good western or boss plow .
