400 stroker update

Getting closer, some of you guys probably know this, but a Weiand intake will not fit the CHI 3V heads, and I am going to guess the Edelbrock will not fit either. We have the spacer plates and intake coming from CHI.

Better get those desk top dyno's working. I'd like to see some estimates.

I'll get back with some specs for your dynos.

It's looking Nasty!!

is the intake problem just the location and size of the 3V ports? or are the mating surfaces at different angles than stock? and the spacers are only needed because it'll be a 9.2" or a 9.5" deck CHI intake?

Ports are to tall, manifold did not cover the ports in the head. Bolts aligned alright.

Those heads are gorgeous. You have to post up a video of this thing on the dyno when it's done.

Find someone who can tig weld and have the intake welded up so it will cover the ports, then port the intake a bit for a better port match.

I'll second that

Better yet, let me borrow one of those built engines from you and put, oh say 100k miles on it. I'd be more than happy to do a long term test for you if you are looking for a volunteer to give an engine to

Tim if you look down a few posts about EFI you can see the intake which he posted he is using. It is exactly like that.
