I have another question for you experienced fordsman. My truck is a 78 Ford F150 2WD. My cab and glove box has F150 ranger and my hood and bed has Explorer on it. I am not sure about this because I thought this was two trim packages. All help on this would be highly appreciated. My truck as far as I was told when I bought it from an old guy has never been messed with and color is the same so I'm leaving it to you fellows. I don't know if this helps but it came with the works. Air, tilt steering, PB,PS.
Thanks Keith
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 13-Aug-02 AT 03:23 PM (EST)]Its probally a factory mistake my 1979 has Ranger on the glove box but its a custum. And I know this hasn't been changed because my dad bought the truck brand new. Some times they miss up at the factory I guess.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 13-Aug-02 AT 04:29 PM (EST)]my grandpa has one thats says custom on the glove box and cab and has explorer on the hood and bed. its a 77 2wd with air ps pb 302 auto
I was driving around town the other day when I saw a truck with an original looking paint job and both explorer and ranger badges. Since it was going the other way I didn't get a real good look at it but it sure caused me to do a double-take.
