hey guys, i have a few questions about the sct xcalibrator flash tool. if i do decide to go with the sct setup, exactly what do i need to get that set up in my truck? what are the approximate gas mileage improvements? how many settings do i have to choose from?
i own a 1997 f-150 extended cab that has a 4.6L v8 with 115k on it
i went from 235's to 265's and am currently getting 12.5 mpg.
thatks for all of of the help

You don't need anything to put it in your truck. You simply plug it into the diagnostic port and it walks you through the menu.

Its not designed for mileage. In some cases a couple of mpg is possible, but you need to run premium. The settings available are listed here: http://www.motorhaven.com/product.ph...cat=274&page=1

None of the gas programmers have adjustments for mileage. If you want mileage, its the wrong reason to get one. While any of the brands may give a mileage increase you [must run premium fuel so you won't save money gas.
