tranny swap
i have a 1993 ford f-150 4x4 4wd 5.0L 302 truck. with an e4od tranny. my neighbor is giving me a C6 tranny out of a 1978 ford f-250 2wd. unsure what motor it was bolted up to it but would this tranny bolt up correctly with my 302? and if it does do i need to get a new tail housing and transmission cooler lines or anything else??

I dought the 78 F250 it came from had a 302 in it, more like a 351 or 400. 302's have small block bellhousings and the 351's, 400's have bigblock bellhousings. In other words it wont work, unless an adapter is used(which are very expensive unless youve got the machinery to make one).
