Changing Fuel Filter

HI,

According to the service manual after putting in a new fuel filter some codes should be reset.
Has any done the change yet? Did you have to reset some codes?
I do not have the code reader device (whatever it is called correctly).

Thanks for help.

I changed mine on my STX 4.6,didn't have a check engine light so I didn't reset, the filter is a snap coupling type and you will need a fuel line tool to get it off.
