New Pics

I updated my '48' F-1 gallery with some new pics. I have one pic of my US NAVY tailgate. Also couple of my bed floor, which went from a plain piece of plywood into something neat I think. There's also a pic of my engine compartment. Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Very nice flame job on the fenders and the motor looks great. The stained flames on the bed were a great idea. Overall, it's a head-turner.

But you gotta paint that tail gate...really.

Thanks guys.

Randy- I don't want to paint the tailgate. hehe

Wayne- It's a Ron Davis Racing Radiator. They already have the plans but have to wait for them to make it. I have only had one heating problem and it was partly my fault. The thermostat stuck shut, but instead of going home I kept hotrodding around. The Ron Davis sales person told my dad that it would cool anything that would ever be put in the truck. Quality wise it is the best built aluminum radiator I have ever seen. I can get more pics if you want and answer anymore questions you may have.

Thanks,

Well I stained whole piece of plywood with a golden oak stain. I then masked off the flames and then stained the unmasked area with a red oak stain. I completed it with three coats of clear gloss.

Thanks,
