I know this has been brought up before but has there been a solution to the mystery rear sliding window? My power rear slider has now decided to stop working again. This has happened in the past and magically it starts working. I just took the truck in to have the rotors replaced and naturally the window was working perfectly- went to open it yesterday and nothing. Has anyone had a dealer actually discover the cause of this???
I just had the motor replaced. Same thing happened to me. After it had been replaced. It did it one more time, but has been working ever since. I don't recommend the power rear window as an option!
medik, I hear your point on the power option but I think this is just a unlucky freak thing. If the problem is in the motor than a replacement should fix the problem. Yeah I know it's a pain to have to keep going back to the dealer for the same problem!
Personally the power rear window was one thing that I searched for when buying. I really didn't want to have to stop and get out to open or close the back window! I love mine, but...I've had no problems with it!
Just brought in my truck for the same issue. Picking it up today, should find out what the problem was! First issue I have had with this truck since I acquired it 14 months ago!

I must have jinxed myself. It stopped working AGAIN!!! What a POS! This is the second time it will be at the dealer for this. Do you think the lemon law will cover it after a third time?
I've been waiting on a new motor for over a month now. The dealer says they are back-ordered. They must be having a problem with these motors. I just hope after they replace it, its fixed.
Well I spent some time making sure the window rubber wasn't stuck to the window after washing- no luck. Said screw it I'll take it in. Got in the truck this morning and the window works perfectly- I'm wondering if there is limit switch or some type of reset fuse that gets tripped. This has happened 3 or 4 times and the window always seems to come back. I can't believe it's a motor problem. Maybe one of you electrical gurus can look at wiring diagram an see what could cause this.
