I've gotten some bad fuel and it does the shimmy and lack of power that you describe. Get some diesel water remover and add it to a full tank. Solved my problem. Did the previous owner change the fuel filter at 15,000? Heck I have even considered putting a Marine Grade Racor in my system. Seems like our fuel has gotten a little "wet" here in the past few weeks? Hopefully it was a bad batch or they just havent changed their Racor on the tanks. Glad to see it got better for you.
