I'm usually surfing the boards for work on my 88 F-150 but now I need to step back in time a bit. I'm helping to restore my Dad's 76 F-150 and I need some advice. It was his first truck so it has a ton of sentimental value. (and it always did run like hell too) We have the body pulled off and on a stand, and it's time to start looking into fixing it. It's rusted pretty bad, in the floor plan, etc. We'd like to keep as much of the truck as possible and I wondered if any of you guys know where a good place is to get body pieces. Like cab corners etc. We've heard that we can get parts like that and maybe even a whole new floorplan?? Thanks in advance everyone!!
Thanks 1Ton! Looks like a great place to start. I'm printing some pages out now. Anybody know any others, just in case I need different parts or quality.
you can get all the sheet metal parts you want at a place called runyans truck store in elwood ,in used them to get lots of parts for 76 f-250 hi boy. they will ship anything but a bed if you got the money. they do not have any frame parts like frame mounts.
do not use jc witney there parts are cheap and of poor quality motor haven has the best parts and the best quality plus the service there is pretty good and since you already use this website why not help support it
