napa tools
#2
I have broke a couple of Napa tools over the years. Well basically a breaker bar that they have replaced about five times. Yes I did abuse it quite a lot. For the other Napa tools that I have and it is a bunch I have never had a problem with them. Except for when I use my screwdrivers for pry bars. They are great tools and I have never needed a receipt. Although I am in my neighborhood Napa a least once a week.

Napa Hand Tools are made by Danaher, which makes Craftsman and Matco, as well as KD specialty tools. They are very good quality, and most NAPA stores will accept them for warranty without a receipt (there are always exceptions, and a good relationship with your local jobber does help!) NAPA also has a "value line" called Evercraft, which are cheaper ($ and quality), but carry the same warranty. I have upgraded all the Evercraft stuff I used to own, but it was decent occasional use stuff. I still have some NHT stuff that I don't intend on upgrading, because it is good enough for my picky tastes.

I have many sets of NAPA professional series box wrenches. Teeny tiny 11/32 all the way to big 1 1/8. They are of high quality and have a good finish. They are smooth and seamless. Not like for other wrenches like cheaper craftsman that have raisied centers. Very comfortable in you hand. I just broke the 3/8 wrench. When ye got a delivery form NAPA, I gave it to the driver and the next day another one was delivered.

Napa still replaces the old "New Britain" line without question. New Britain was sold through napa stores 50 years ago. I had to get a large 3-jaw puller replaced for my dad that was 30 years old. The part number was still valid, but had been upgrated to 2/3 jaw kit. I have never had a problem with exchanging tools at Napa. If the local store doesn't have what you broke, they will usually order it for you.

I just purchased Ever craft tools.
90 pc socket set 109.99
crows ft. 10 pc 17.99
" " 8 pc 15.99
Two wrench sets 65.00
The tools look good and a lifetime warranty they seem to be as good as Craftsman. I will see. There is nothing on there wed to look at tools and price. You have to call and ask prices. I found out today the napa tools were on sale! I have no way of knowing when there is a sale. The store is just around the Conner from my house and we purchase from them at work so they will keep in contact with me. If anyone knows anything good or bad please let me know.
