390 to 460 conversion
Hi,
First post for me here.
Need some help, putting a 460 in my 76 f250 4X4 need to know part numbers for oil pan, dipstick and tube or at least were I can get these items.

I'm guessing you are looking for a rear sump pan. The easiest way to do it is to get the Ford Racing kit, (listed as M-6675-A460), which includes all the necessary pieces to install it. It's based on production parts, so it's not a HP pan as such, but it works fine for street applications. You can also get the appropriate pump from Ford Racing, or get the Melling HV truck pump which is the same thing. Someone posted this a while back and I copied it. Also there is a kit on e-bay right now for 199.00 buy it now.
